Privacy Notice
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This notice explains how Algevion Inc. (“Algevion”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through algevion.com (the “Site”). In short: we only collect what you send us when you request a demo, we use it to respond to you, we do not use cookies, we do not sell your information, and you can ask us to access or delete it at any time by writing to privacy@algevion.com.
1. Who is responsible
Algevion Inc., a company based in the United States, is responsible for (the “controller” of) the personal information described in this notice. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@algevion.com.
2. What we collect
When you request a demo. The form asks for your first name, last name, company, work email address and role, and optionally a message. We also record the date and time of the request and the page it was sent from.
Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver the Site and keep it secure, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. When you submit the form, your IP address is used briefly to prevent spam and abuse (for example, limiting repeated submissions); it is not stored with your request.
Aggregate usage statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the Site is used (for example, which pages are visited and how often the demo form is opened). It does not use cookies and does not identify you; visitors are counted using a short-lived, anonymized identifier that is discarded within 24 hours.
We do not collect sensitive information, and we do not buy personal information from third parties.
3. How we use it, and why
- To respond to your demo request and communicate with you about it, including arranging and following up on a demonstration. Legal basis (where the GDPR applies): steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.
- To keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the Site and our users.
- To understand and improve the Site using aggregate, non-identifying statistics. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a useful website.
- To comply with the law and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, where necessary.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your permission.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Vercel Inc. (United States) — website hosting and aggregate analytics.
- Resend (United States) — delivery of demo requests to our team by email.
- Our email provider — where the requests we receive are stored and answered.
We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this notice would continue to apply. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. International transfers
Algevion and its service providers are located in the United States, so your information will be processed there. The United States may not provide the same level of data protection as the country where you live. Where required (for example, for information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland), transfers rely on recognized safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses included in our providers’ data processing terms. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards at privacy@algevion.com.
6. How long we keep it
We keep demo requests and related correspondence for 24 months after our last interaction with you, and then delete or anonymize them — unless you become a customer (in which case the terms of our agreement apply) or we need to keep them longer to comply with the law or resolve a dispute. Technical logs kept by our hosting provider are retained only for a short period.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site does not use cookies, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking. It stores a single non-identifying value in your browser’s session storage so that the opening animation plays only once per visit; it is deleted when you close the tab.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- have your information deleted;
- object to or restrict certain processing, including processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw any consent you have given, at any time;
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of them, write to privacy@algevion.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law (for example, one month under the GDPR). You can also complain to your local data protection authority — for example, a supervisory authority in the European Union, the Agência Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD) in Brazil, or the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP) in Argentina.
Argentina. The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, in accordance with Article 14(3) of Law No. 25,326. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, as the supervisory authority under Law No. 25,326, has the power to address complaints and claims filed by those whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the rules on personal data protection.
United States. Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We honor the rights described above for all visitors, regardless of where they live.
9. Security
We protect personal information with measures appropriate to its nature, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to the people who need it, and service providers with established security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
10. Children
The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information; if you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our practices change. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
